Musanaka, Frying Pan

Musanaka, you are a Japanese fry chef. You open your kitchen to find a bunch of mice. Not just any mice. These have mutated and become gigantic menaces. Roll 2D8.

You miss, and lose 1 HP. You are down to 3. Reroll please.

Great! Lets kill the mice this time 5+7 =12

You completely knock out one of the rodents, and remove the second down to 1 hit point. The third remains at full health. You lose 2 health points yourself. You note a heart floating in the air. It is a health restore. You will need to roll the 2 dice for a total of 6 to pick it up.

I jump to reach the heart (6 + 6) XD

You gain the heart, and land soundly on the gigantic mouse with 1 hit point left. He's toast. You see him fade away. Please roll 1D8.

Yay! 3

Increase your health by 2 hit points.
You notice as the last mouse turns to run. If he gets out of the kitchen, your restaurant will be ruined.

I hiff my frying pan at him (6)

You pop him a good one, and the frying pan returns like a boomerang. (Of course, physics never work properly in a platformer.) He fades to nothing. But something strange is happening.

I try to percieve what this strange event is (7,7)

You gain a level, increasing your health to 5.

LOADING... PLEASE STAND BY. (GRR... I HATE THAT! STINKIN' GAME!!!) You toss the remote at the TV, and it shatters. You cry.

(Okay, we'll assume you have more restraint than that.)

LEVEL 2: TRAVELING HOME.
You are seen leaving your business. It is dark. There are street lights. You don't lock your door. (Who ever locked a door in a Platformer?) You hop aboard your bike: Prepare for the ride.

You pick up speed, as you race down the street. Suddenly, you hear a large dog barking behind you. It begins chasing you.

I pedal harder 5,8

The dog seems to be gaining on you; there's a jump up ahead. If you hit it just right, you can reach the rooftop and escape the mangy mutt.

I go for the roof 5,2

You don't hit the roof, but you manage to land upright on the ground not far from the ramp. You see what looks like a D8, rolling in the air over that ramp.
