***Story Of The Mute***

This is the story of a mute girl, a mute girl named Victoria, trying to survive in the vast 'Verse

*You have just arrived on the planet Zolo, With a strange pilot that came to your rescue after your former pilot was abducted by Reavers, this strange pilot refuses to talk to you, and has now left saying he will not be returning and that you are now on your own*

*Thanks a lot pilot* I think to myself. *Zolo. Have I been here before? Do I know anything about Zolo?* Is that an intelligence check for memory?

Against my better judgment, I put on my warmest coat (just in case), and I go walk outside (hoping my face doesn't freeze off), though it will probably be 382,000 degrees Kelvin.

You out and see what appears to be a vast dessert

(Yummo! Cheesecake!!!) I dive in. Uh-oh, wrong desert, must be a mirage. I receive 9 damage, and am borderline dead from the monumental face plant. (Boo GM! Trying to trick li'l ol' me!) So much for this coat, I remove it. Am I near a city? Or where did my strange pilot go? I make an alertness check to see if I can find him or a city nearby. 6 (SOmething more than dessert please. Like ice-cream and a cherry on top.)

You realize its a desert rather than a dessert, you can notice that there is footsteps going in a straight line for 50 meters then disappears

I follow the steps for 50 feet... then I too disappear. Or maybe not... Disappointing. Hey look, my shoe's untied. I crouch down to tie my shoe. 9

Cool! I go up and ring the doorbell. O Lutefisk! I can't reach! Hmm... I go back to the ship to retrieve my toolbox. If I step on that, maybe I can reach the doorbell. Problem solved!

I make a strength check to carry my tools to the door. 5

U manage to half life half drag it to the door

Note: If I had emptied my tools out on the ground, I would have been able to carry it easier, but I may need them.

And in fact I do. I dig in my bag for a screw driver, and, standing on the toolbox, I reach up with the screw driver to ring the doorbell. I really had to stretch though. Nearly tore my sciatic nerve.

An automated voice says Welcome, enter at your own risk, there is no law past this door

*No law? Since when has there been law in this galaxy?* I attempt to say. It comes out "Ghrhoughoahgh!"

I clasp my monkey wrench, tapping it in my open palm. *Thanks for the reminder.* I think, as I walk through the door, hoping to hear some ragtime music on the other side like at a western saloon.

U hear Hip Hop Music Blaring and people everywhere

I cross my arms, looking all bad. That was short lived.

You cant speak.......But they dont look harmful, everyone coming out the tavern looks friendly, everyone else looks busy

I wave at the guy walking out of the tavern. Does he notice me?

He notices you and walks over "Hi There Little Thing"

*I'm not little!* I think of stomping on his foot, but manage to hold back, putting that smile back on my face.
I hold out and jingle the keys to my ship. I point at him, then at the keys, and I shrug.

"Cant u talk???? I'll have ur keys if u want tho" He says with a slurrp
