***Story Of The Mute***

I really think of kneeing him in the unmentionables. But my knee wouldn't reach past his thigh. "Sigh!" That much I can say out loud.
Hmmm... One more time. I shake my head no. I make gestures like moving joysticks, and gesture to him. Then I gesture to myself, and salute as would a captain. Shrug.

"U want a pilot?" he scratches his head

I nod, and applaud. I open my mouth, shaking my head excitedly, making that fake cheer sound with my breath. I draw out a small bag full of credits, and jangle it before him to sweeten the deal.

I suddenly realize I should have given that money to the last guy, before he just walked off into the desert. Oh well, I'll never see him again.

"I havent flew anything in 20 years" "I might be a bit rusty"

*I can work with Rusty! In fact, from this point forward, he will be referred to as Rusty, since I'll never be able to say his name anyway.* I shrug, but to show my sincerity, I jingle my coins again.

Okay he shrugs, "hope i dont get us both killed"

*Hope you don't destroy my beautiful ship* I reply, or fail to, making a sound that's a cross between a pig and a donkey. *I would much rather die than crash the ship.* But, I have a feeling that's going to drive my pilot nutty, so I stop with the sound effects.
I hand him the keys, and take out a map of where I want us to go. Clearly my last pilot was confused. *AHEM!!!* I lead him to my ship. It's a streamline model, and should just about pilot itself, but I can't pilot, because I can't reach the joysticks.

He chuckles seeing you dilema "I'll do my best miss"

*Welcome aboard! Thanks for joining me.* Is what I'd like to say. With no other way to say it, I shake his hand in a warm and excited way, and head off to my quarters.

He Pulls out an electronic pad(Ipads we call them nowadays), "talk to me on this."

"So where do u want to go lil girl"

H - E - R - E. I hunt and peck. Sorry, not much for typing skills with an Ipad. Anyway, I show him a map of *******************. (GM fills in the blanks here.)

I open the bag of coinage, and slip him a coin. M O R E W H E R E T H A T C A M E F R O M. Grr... I hate typing. I hand his pad back to him.

I gesture below my nose to indicate a mustache, and grasp my lapels strutting like a dignitary. I lift an imaginary crate and set it at his feet.

He grins greadily at the money, Trys starting this ship, manages to start the ship...."What a piece of junk" he mutters

I kick him ever so gently in the shin. I extend my hand to gesture at the ship, and then draw a heart on my chest with my index fingers.

"DONT KICK ME EVER AGAIN LIL THING" Shoves Victoria away "But i am sorry to insult your ship"

I shrug. *That temper might need a few less coins* I think to myself. I don't particularly enjoy being pushed around, and contemplate demonstrating my Kung Fu expertise, but decide against it at this juncture. I do sort of want him to like me. Arguing won't get us anywhere, and I DO need him, since I can't pilot by myself.

Starts Piloting towards Keishna. "We should be there in a few hours miss."

I nod and exit the room.

Has a quick look for anything of value while victoria is out of the room finds a bag on 200 credits, sneaks them into his pocket and fails to notice that he was drifting off course

I assume everything is fine, as I head to the kitchen. I push the chair over, and make my way onto the counter to make myself an egg salad sandwich.
"AHGIEHGIOHGLHIHOGDL!!!" I offer. But I doubt he'll understand me. I shrug, and chow down.
